Peppermint is a lot more versatile than you might've originally thought, and this gorgeous recipe is all the proof you need. Brought to you by the brilliant Elisa behind Happy Skin Kitchen blog, this smoothie is as decadent as it gets. It's the perfect balance of indulgence and nutritional goodness, all packed into one skin-loving smoothie.  It will satisfy any chocolate cravings and thanks to it's star ingredient avocado, it will keep you feeling satiated for longer. Elisa loved the combination of the rich raw cacao and the fresh Peppermint Tea, now it's your turn to try it! 

Ingredients (serves 1)

1 frozen banana

½ avocado

1 tablespoon of almond or cashew butter

½ cup of brewed cold We Are Tea Peppermint Tea

1/3 cup of almond milk

2 tablespoon of raw cacao powder

Toppings:

Fresh mint leaves

Cacao nibs 

Fresh fruit (strawberries are recommended)

Granola

Coconut chips

Method:

1. It couldn't be simpler - place all the ingredients (apart from the toppings) into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Serve in a bowl and top it with your favourites, or go for granola, fresh berries and mint leaves.
