Cranberry Green Tea Smoothie
Question: How can you improve an already delicious, refreshing, tangy smoothie that's bursting with berry goodness & antioxidants? Answer: by adding Green tea to it. The best smoothies combine great health benefits & even better flavour. The cranberries and Green tea pack this smoothie full of natural antioxidants, while the rest of the berries & banana add essential vitamins, fibre and nutrients.
Yield: Makes 1 breakfast serving (2 cups; 1 cup for a snack)
Prep: 10 Minutes
1/2 cup frozen cranberries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
5 frozen whole strawberries
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup brewed Gunpowder Supreme tea ( cold-brewed or chilled)
1/4 cup plain soy milk. If you're feeling adventurous - go for a couple of spoonfuls of Greek Yoghurt instead.
2 tablespoons honey / sweetener of choice
And from here on, it's nice and easy. Combine all of these lovely ingredients in the blender (frozen elements should go in first for ease of blending) annndd BLEND! Give it a minute or 2, until it's looking nice and smooth. Enjoy, and we will see you soon for some more cooking inspiration.
