Zesty Strawberry & Lime Scones

We've teamed up with Annie (@breakfastnbrunch) to bring you this gluten free, dairy free & refined sugar free scones! Perfect teamed with a cuppa this Afternoon Tea Week.


  • 40ml maple syrup
  • 200g oat flour
  • 120g ground almonds 
  • 150ml soya milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp vanilla essence
  • zest of one lime
  • 200g oat cream mixed with juice from half a lime
  • sugar free jam


  1. Preheat your oven to 180˚C

  2. Combine all scone ingredients in a mixing bowl

  3. Grease a cupcake tin with coconut oil

  4. Spoon the mixture into the cupcake slots, making sure each one is almost full but has a little room for them to expand at the top (it should make around 6 scones)

  5. Place in the oven for 35 minutes, or until they scones have turned a golden brown colour

  6. Remove from the oven and carefully release the scones from the tray

  7. Spoon the lime cream and jam on top of each scone and serve!
