Your access to and use of www.wearetea.com is subject exclusively to these terms and conditions. You will not use the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. By using the website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must immediately stop using the website.

USE OF THE WEBSITE

To register with www.wearetea.com and place an order through our website, you must be at least 18 years old. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.  You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering, by updating your personal details. You must give us your real name, address, phone number, email address and any other details that we may require to process your order.

We reserve the right to: - decline a new customer registration or suspend a customer's account at any time and at our sole discretion - in our absolute discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of the services with or without notice - in our absolute discretion, to discontinue the website or services, or any part thereof, at any time, with or without notice

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, We Are Tea takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

AVAILABILITY

Goods are subject to availability.  Our acceptance of your offer to purchase our goods is subject to their availability. Our system automatically acknowledges receipt of your order, but mere acknowledgement of receipt does not constitute acceptance of your offer to purchase the item(s). In the event of unavailability of the goods you have offered to purchase, we will advise you of the position when we receive your order and await your subsequent instructions.

Although we endeavour to hold stock of all items on our site, this cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, by acknowledging receipt of your order we are not creating a binding obligation to supply what you have ordered but which we do not have in stock. Orders that include seasonal/sale items may be sent incomplete if certain lines are out of stock. Your card will be refunded and you will be notified as above.

PRICING, DESCRIPTION AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

All prices are in UK Pounds and are inclusive of VAT at the current applicable rate. There is no VAT on loose leaf tea. Prices may change from time to time. Although we will take all reasonable care to ensure that all descriptions, details and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system, the information appearing on this website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order. Please be aware that the colours and appearance of our teaware may vary slightly from the way they appear on the screen and we cannot guarantee that your monitor screen will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. All measurements and sizes are approximate, although we make every effort to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.

PAYMENT

We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details. Payment must be made with a valid credit or debit card acceptable to us. The address at which the card is registered must be the same as your billing address.

We intend to provide you with the safest and most secure shopping experience possible. We use Stripe as our payment processor, which meets and exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. 

We accept credit card and debit card payments online from Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Charges to your credit card will be shown as Tea Retail Ltd.

DELIVERY

Provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products, ownership of an item will pass to you once we have delivered the item to you (either directly, or by leaving it in a safe place or with a neighbour). When an item has been delivered, risk of damage to, or loss of, the item passes to you. For specific delivery information, please refer to our FAQs.

If your delivery details change, you must inform us as soon as possible.

Our goal is to deliver within 3-5 working days. Unfortunately factors, such as weather and traffic conditions as well as parcels going missing, occasionally prevent us from achieving this. We cannot accept liability for late delivery arising from conditions beyond our control.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We are sure you will be delighted with your purchases from We Are Tea but occasions may occur where you feel it necessary to return an item. Please contact us at hello@wearetea.com within 3 days of receipt and return the package within 7 days, for a refund or replacement to occur.

This right to cancellation applies to all our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of products where foodstuffs have been opened unless the items are of unsatisfactory quality. We will refund the price or replace the product. Return/exchange delivery charges will only be refunded in the event of faulty, damaged or incorrect items being sent to you.

All returned goods are to be accompanied by a note showing your name, the date of order and the invoice number, and must be sent to We are Tea, Unit 126, Metal Box Factory, 30 Great Guildford Street, London, SE1 0HS.

REFUNDS

If your purchase from We Are Tea is found to be faulty, damaged or unsatisfactory, please return it to us per the instructions above for a full refund.

Refunds for valid claims will be made to the debit or credit card on which the original purchase was made, within 30 days of the cancellation of the order or return of the goods. In the event that We Are Tea is unable to credit your original method of payment, we will contact you to arrange an alternate method of refund.

PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS

In order for a promotion or offer to be applied to your order, a valid promotion code must be entered into the promotion code box on the basket page. We Are Tea cannot be held liable for not discounting the order if a valid code has not been entered. Only one code can be used per order.

CHANGES TO WEBSITE AND UPDATE

In order to keep our website as accurate and as up to date as reasonably possible, it may be necessary, from time to time, to restrict access to the site in order to undertake necessary maintenance work. We will make every effort to ensure that any down time or restricted access is kept to a minimum.

- change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that www.wearetea.com shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and

- change these terms and conditions at any time, and your continued use of the website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

The website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.
