Beat the bloat.

Soothe is a digestive tummy tea, full of carefully selected herbs to give you some tummy TLC.  The classic combination of lemon and ginger creates a warming caffeine-free tea and is the perfect post meal sip to aid digestion and pain caused by bloating. We like to drink it when we've overdone it at lunch!

How to make the perfect herbal tea? Infuse in freshly drawn boiled water for 3 to 4 minutes.

Ingredients: fennel, chamomile, lemon verbena, holy basil, mint, ginger.

Fennel is packed full of antioxidants and has anti inflammatory properties. It is also a good source of iron and can help alleviate the symptoms of anaemia. Fennel seeds have been used as an aid to digestion for years and in many parts of the world the seeds are chewed after large meals. Fennel tea can be used to ease the pain of cramps and bloating.

Chamomile is known for its sleep promoting properties as well as helping to soothe anxiety and relax muscles. But wait, those same relaxing properties can work on your digestive tract and help soothe and relax muscles such as the stomach and intestines!

Lemon verbena tea can help to reduce inflammation and calm the stomach. Historically it was used to alleviate the symptoms of gas and it can also help alleviate the symptoms of IBS.

Holy basil is high in antioxidants, helps your body detox and can also protect your body against toxic chemicals.

Mint is a great appetizer or palate cleanser, and promotes digestion. It soothes stomachs in cases of indigestion or inflammation, and mint can also help alleviate the symptoms of IBS.

Ginger tea can help treat chronic indigestion, reduce muscle soreness and relieve morning sickness and nausea. It is also commonly used to relieve cold and flu symptoms, a study from the University of Georgia found that taking ginger tea daily reduced exercise-induced muscle pain by 25%. The ginger benefits are endless!
